What sixteen weeks actually buys you
Biostimulators don't fill anything. They prompt your own fibroblasts to lay down new collagen, and that takes time to become visible. Here is roughly how a course sits in the calendar.

Now...
Consultation and assessment
Skin assessed in person, history taken, and a plan agreed — or not. If treatment isn't right for you, that's a legitimate outcome of the appointment.

Week one...
First session
Whatever the plan calls for: poly-L-lactic acid, polynucleotides, PRP, a peel, or a combination. Most people return to normal activity the same day.

Weeks 5–10...
The rest of the course
Courses are usually two to three sessions spaced four to six weeks apart. The spacing isn't a scheduling convenience — it's the interval the collagen response needs.

Weeks 12–16...
Results settle
Change from biostimulation builds gradually and continues after the final session. This is the window the treatment was aimed at all along.
Work backwards from that and the last useful starting point for a full course before December is late September. Start in November and you'll be paying for results that arrive in February.

The other reason...

Autumn is the safer resurfacing window
Lower UV
Resurfacing treatments leave skin temporarily more reactive to sunlight. Lower UV levels through autumn reduce the risk of post-treatment pigmentation.
Fewer clashes
No holiday sun to schedule around, so a course can run to the proper intervals instead of being interrupted.
Time to adjust
Any temporary redness or flaking happens well ahead of the events you actually care about.

What a consultation involves
It's an assessment, not a sales appointment. You are not committing to treatment by booking one.
-
A face-to-face skin assessment and full medical history
-
An honest view on what is realistically achievable, and over what timescale
-
A written plan with costs, so you can go away and think about it
-
No treatment on the day unless you've had time to consider it and you want to proceed
If a treatment won't do what you're hoping it will do, we will tell you that, and you'll leave without booking anything.
What might be discussed

Doctor-led, on Brown Street
Hedonia is run by Dr Adama Luca, a GMC-registered medical doctor BSC. BMBS. MS Aesthetics, working in medical aesthetics. Every consultation and every treatment is carried out by a doctor — not a delegate, and not a therapist working to a protocol.

Reasonable questions
How much is a consultation?
£50, redeemable against the cost of treatment if you decide to proceed. Allow 30 minutes.

Is it too late to start for December?
For a full course of biostimulation, late September is the practical cut-off. After that there are still options with a faster onset, but they're doing a different job — that's part of what the consultation is for.

Will I look obviously "done"?
Biostimulators work by gradually restoring your own collagen, so change appears slowly rather than overnight. That's the point of starting early.

Is there downtime?
It depends on the treatment. Injectable biostimulation usually means a day or two of possible swelling or bruising. Peels and microneedling involve some redness and flaking for several days. This is covered specifically at consultation.

What if I'm not sure what I need?
Most people aren't, and it isn't your job to be. Arrive with what bothers you, not with a treatment in mind.

Sixteen weeks. Starting now still works. Starting in November does not.
