How Much Does Sculptra Cost in the UK? A Doctor's Price Guide

3 min read

In the UK, Sculptra is usually priced per vial or per session, and many clinics charge somewhere between £500 and £700 for each. Most people need two or three sessions, so a full course commonly comes to somewhere between £1,000 and £3,000 or more. At Hedonia in Salisbury, Sculptra is £425 per vial, with a £50 consultation.

That range is wide, so here's what actually drives the price, and how to work out what you'd pay.

Why Sculptra is priced per vial

Sculptra comes as a powder in a vial, which is mixed with sterile water before treatment. The number of vials you need depends on how much collagen loss there is and how many areas are being treated. Pricing per vial means you pay for what your face needs, rather than a flat fee that might be too much or too little.

How many vials of Sculptra will I need?

It depends on how much volume has been lost and how many areas are treated, so the number is only decided after an assessment. Generally, you can expect to use one vial per decade of life.

Everyone is different, and I only give an exact number after examining you. If a clinic quotes a vial count before seeing your face, it's worth asking why.

Add the £50 consultation, which you pay once at the start. Full prices are on my price list.

Is Sculptra worth the cost?

Sculptra costs more upfront than a single syringe of filler, but it tends to last much longer. Galderma reports results lasting up to 25 months after an average of three treatments.

Spread across that time, the cost per month often works out similar to, or lower than, repeated filler. You're also paying for something different: your own collagen rebuilt, rather than product sitting in the skin. I explain that in more detail in what biostimulation is, and how it compares with another option in Sculptra vs Radiesse.

What affects the price of Sculptra

  • Who injects you. Doctor-led clinics often charge more than non-medical providers. Sculptra can't be dissolved, so medical training and anatomy knowledge matter.

  • Location. London clinics are usually at the top of the range.

  • What's included. Some prices include the consultation and a review; others don't.

  • Number of vials and sessions. This is the biggest factor by far.

  • Packages. Some clinics offer a lower per-vial price for a full course paid upfront.
